Sounds familiar? Yes Jesus tells us this in The Bible. Why would God himself tell us to do this? It is to make us focus on what we want to have or to become, and in the case of business, giving customers what they want.
Why would anyone ignore this concept? And why not apply it to your business?
Many do. Don’t make the same mistake.

In the first 20 minute payday training video, Russell Brunson tells us how to setup an Ask Database or Ask Campaign. An ask campaign is very simple, and has only a few steps, but the results you get from it can form the basis for your entire business and/or product.

The first step is to put a survey form your webpage. Don’t worry; you don’t even need to have your own website to do this. To create the survey for you can use the ASK Database product, which is a paid product with a $1 trial, or use the included bonus survey software, or use your auto responder (I use Aweber) if you have one.

You’ll have to watch the video to get details on what to say on the form but basically you ask website visitors what is their biggest problem you have with BLANK (fill-in your niche e.g. back pain, getting your kids to do their schoolwork, what are the best exercises for lower back pain, etc).

This survey form also captures the visitors name and email to help you build a list of potential buyers and product reviewers.
The next step is to drive traffic to the page using simple methods. Russell explains many methods throughout the course but the easiest one it to go to forums related to your niche, put a link to your page in your signature, contribute to the forum and ask forum participants to answer your survey to get a free copy of your product.

Once you have 50-100 questions you can create your system outline which becomes the foundation for your entire product and/or business!

This Ask and You Shall Receive concept will work with any business or products and is a vital step towards 20 Minute Payday Success!

When I heard about 20 Minute Payday I asked myself “Can I really make money onlinein just 20 minutes per day?”  Despite all the hype usually accompanying a product launch in the Make Money Online category these days, I can honestly say, Russell Brunson admits that it does take time to get your business up and running.

However, once your website is set up you should be able to spend less than an hour, OK — 20 minutes, each day generating traffic.

Just be sure to reserve more time each day for customer service, business development and marketing (and that 90-day vacation you deserve too!)

The Good News

The good news is, 20 Minute Payday gives you an abundance of training material to accomplish both; setting up your business, creating a product, and implementing simple, easy to follow, traffic generating systems that should make you money, allegedly hand over fist.

Russell includes excellent, relevant training, strategies, tools and software in 20 Minute Payday. Here is a summary of what it included:

These interviews were very inspiring seeing two people who do not have a clue about Internet marketing or websites. Even they were able to complete the course. Plus, their mind set is one you should adopt, I know I have.

• Two Bonus software packages: Keyword Research and Flycatcher Survey Generator help you refine your niche and find out what your market wants to buy
• “$1k Call” with Matt Bacak.  Russell paid Matt $1,000 for a one hour coaching call and the Brunson / Filsaime $10,000,000 face off, where he and Mike Filsaime spent 3 hours on the phone dissecting each other’s businesses.These two calls have good tips and discussions but they are for later, once you get rolling.
• 17 video coaching videos, delivered by Russell Brunson himself, from the $100 Million Challenge Contest which was held a year or so ago. Contestants received free training and competed for prizes, including a brand new Corvette.  This is the core training that comes with 20 Minute Payday and lays out the very same blueprint Xan and Jen followed to win a brand new Corvette!  I found the “Ask Campaign” video alone worth the price of the entire product!

Again, this is good stuff but can wait until later, once you get your business rolling.

The Bad News

The bad news is this; you DO have to put in some effort to get started and you have to take action to get it working and complete, at minimum, these tasks:

• Learning the 20 Minute Payday system
• Researching your market
• Creating a product
• Planning, building and creating your website
• Marketing

To accomplish all of this you need a success plan, or road map, to complete the preliminary tasks over the shortest time possible given your circumstances and level of business and technical skills.  You should plan to spend at least one hour per day with course materials and another hour per day to implement the lessons for each step of the course.

What did you expect, a “get rich quick pill?” Starting your own business online or offline takes hard work. Many small businesses fail before their first anniversary, and more within their first five years.  You need to spend time putting reasonable plans together and then follow a proven system so you do not make the same mistakes others do.

Additionally, the best businesses are those linked to lifelong passion, such as helping others or giving back to the community.  You should do some real soul searching to determine why you want to start your own online business and what success will look and feel like. This way, when the going gets tough you are motivated to keep going and to stick it out.  This is time well spent because it influences your overall success and ultimately, your happiness!
